I had an initial screening call with a recruiter that was about 15 minutes. Then I had my 1st round interview with the SDR manager where we talked about sales compatibility, my experience, and career goals, and I did a cold call simulation. The 2nd round was with the SDR EMEA Manager, and it covered similar topics. The final round was in person with the Director of Sales.

So after I passed this online test, I got invited to their office for an interview. There were 8 of us candidates in a room with 3 N-able employees. We had a quick chat in English, and then there was a short written test, which had 4 questions, and the last two were about algorithms. After that, we did a teamwork exercise where we all had to solve some problem together.

I had an initial video call with a recruiter to go over the role. After a brief chat, they mentioned setting up a follow-up call with the hiring manager/team lead for more in-depth questions and a better role explanation. Unfortunately, this second call never happened. When I followed up via email, I got a standard rejection. It was a bit disappointing because I felt I didn't get to fully showcase my qualifications due to the missed opportunity to talk more about my suitability for the role. The first call with the recruiter was pretty casual, with not many questions, seeming more like a personality check than a formal interview.

So I applied and went through 3 interview stages. First was with a recruiter, then the team manager, and last was onsite with another manager and two team members. The whole thing took over a month. All interviews were about an hour. The first stage recruiter said I'd hear back Monday, but it took two weeks. Then an online interview, and a week after that, they said I was shortlisted with one other person for the final in-person stage. Another week later, I went to the office for the interview. They said they'd update me soon, but never heard back. Unprofessional, especially since it was just me and the one guy they hired. I guess I'm glad I didn't get it, shows the company culture. Funny, I applied over 2 years ago for a similar role and heard nothing. Guess that's how they do rejections.
