Marketing Manager
The interview went well, the atmosphere was good and the questions were pretty clear for someone with 2 years of experience in digital marketing. The questions were easy overall.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What have been your biggest difficulties?
- What are your biggest challenges?
Tutor
You had an online pre-recorded video interview. It had general questions about why you want to be a tutor and your past tutoring experience. You also had to teach a student on a topic. You had 4/6 minutes to read the question and record yourself. You could repeat the recording at least once. There was also a safeguarding question that you likely needed to answer correctly to get the job.
- What motivates you to pursue tutoring?
- Can you describe your previous experience tutoring?
- Deliver a mock teaching session on a specific subject.
Chemistry Teacher
It was a video interview. I had about a minute to prepare for each question before recording. The questions were pretty easy and fun. Some were general, and one was about chemistry.
- Tell me why you are interested in being a tutor.
- How would you adjust your teaching method for different students?
- What steps would you take if a student found a topic difficult?
Private Tutor
I saw the job advertised online. To get past the first step, you just had to put in your A-level grades, needing at least a B, and say you went to a good university. The whole thing was online and they didn't ask much, mostly they were checking presentation skills.
- Can you describe a topic you would teach your students?
