Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Myriad Provisions International.
Marketing Assistant
I went through two interviews for this position. First, I interviewed with the Hiring Manager, and then I had a second interview with one of the team leads. Both were pretty positive and upbeat. The second one went on longer than the first. The biggest hassle was the parking, but the guy who met me bought me a coffee, which was a nice touch. All in all, it was a good experience and the process wasn't too tough.
- What are your main goals for 2019?
Marketing/Sales
I got an email the day after applying and set up an appointment. The job titles were super misleading, so don't fall for them – it's actually a sales job at Sam's Club and they don't train you to be a manager. This whole thing felt like a scam and a waste of my time because they didn't mention you'd be selling in a retail store until the second interview. My advice, especially if you have a degree, is to skip it. They expect long hours, weekends, and offer low pay.
- What are your career goals?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Marketing
I went in and met with the owner, which was cool because he was the one doing the interviews. The next time I met with one of the office leaders and he showed me how we got paid and the money and the job responsibilities.
