First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Myriad Provisions International.
Business Management Trainee
It was a 3 part interview process. First, I talked to the company director and he asked me some questions about myself. I also learned about the company and the owner. Then I got a call back for a second interview. That interview went well, and I learned about the business model, pay, and the day to day schedule. Soon after, I got a call saying I got the position!
- How do you define success?
- Are you active on social media?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Sales Representative
The interviews were a 3 step process. First, a brief meeting with a manager. Then, you wait for a callback. If successful, you have a second interview with another manager at the site. Finally, a third call leads to the job offer. The second interview really breaks down the job's requirements. I was excited about the opportunity because the salary was good, and I thought I'd be trained for management right out of college. I prepared a lot but was disheartened when I arrived at the on-site location, which was just a stand in a Sam's Club parking lot selling Direct TV. The job ad was misleading; I wouldn't have come if I knew I'd be bothering consumers in a market. The company provides little detail in the description, which makes sense. They should be more upfront in job listings to save people time.
- What are your short-term and long-term goals for the next 2, 5, and 10 years?
Sales Manager
I first chatted with the hiring manager and they asked me some questions about my personality and my future goals. Then I had a second interview where I got a tour and saw what the job would be like day-to-day, which was really cool and made me excited about the possibility of being hired. The interview went well and the information was super interesting, so they invited me back for a third interview with the hiring manager. After that, they offered me the job! I'm really grateful for this awesome opportunity.
- What made you want to get into marketing?
Sports Marketing
It was a quick experience and I liked meeting the team. It had 3 parts. The first interview was fast and I met with the assistant manager. I got a call back that day and they invited me in for a second round where we met in Virginia Beach which was nice because I didn't have to drive as far. The next day I got a phone call from the manager asking me how the interview went and said he'd be making a decision soon.
