Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MYND.
Portfolio Manager
The interview process was efficient, straightforward, and quite comprehensive. I appreciated the panel interview; it gave me a clear insight into the Mynd company culture! While panel interviews can sometimes be daunting, the team's positive energy and communication style made me feel welcome and comfortable, encouraging me to be more open throughout our discussion.
- Could you describe your work style and approach?
- What are your professional ethics and values?
- Can you tell us more about yourself as an individual?
Asset Manager
Had a bunch of calls on short notice, then a video chat. After that, another call with someone I'd be working with. Then a written test. They make you wait for weeks for updates and will even email you on weekends. They want you to work remote to save on costs, but they offer way less than market salary for an asset manager.
- Would you be willing to work weekends?
Portfolio Manager
It was a solid interview process, way better than others I've seen. Three interviews in total: a take-home assignment and then a panel interview. The panel interview felt a bit intimidating at first, but everyone was really nice and helpful.
- Do you have experience related to property management, and if so, can you answer some questions about it?
- What do you know about our company?
- What are your motivations for wanting to work with us?
