I was contacted by a consultant, shared my CV, and completed the entire interview process in a single day. It was a smooth experience for me, given my background in both the Indian Army and the corporate world.

Unless you are a woman, it seems you have no chance here. I was told that I didn't have the experience they were looking for, yet they hired someone with nearly identical credentials. I had heard it as a rumor, but didn't believe it until I experienced it myself. Also, the VP that I met with used entirely unprofessional and vulgar language throughout the interview. This was very off putting. I'm actually glad I dodged that bullet, though...I would not want to work in a place that desperately lacks in diversity and professionalism.

First I got a call from the HR recruiter, and then I had a phone screen with them. After that, I had a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager and another manager from a different department. Then, about two weeks later, I went for an onsite interview which took place in three different offices and I met with five people in total. The HR recruiter told me she would let me know the results, but after waiting three weeks with no word, I had to email her myself. She apologized and said they decided not to fill the position and just divided the duties among the current staff. I thought that was not a professional way to handle things, because I believe HR should inform candidates.
