I applied for the Marketing Director role through LinkedIn and was contacted by a hiring manager within 24 hours. They invited me to complete a one-way interview, which I did. About 48 hours after that, I received an email stating I wasn't selected to move forward. I was surprised not to advance, especially given my experience and enthusiasm, and even more so because the company claims to focus on high-quality HR. I didn't receive any specific feedback on why I wasn't considered, despite replying to the hiring manager twice for helpful insights. This lack of communication is unexpected from an HR company. The job has been reposted multiple times, making it unclear what they're seeking. It was an odd experience overall.

Applied through Indeed, then got an invitation for a one-way video interview. After submitting the video, an HR person from MyHR Partner emailed to schedule a phone interview. I gave my availability, but then got ghosted for weeks until a generic rejection email arrived. I felt like I was qualified and enthusiastic, so I suspect age discrimination. It's disappointing given their company promise of prioritizing people and their careers, as their actions felt cold and unprofessional, not matching their brand.

The interview process had a lot of steps: a video chat with a recruiter, a 1-way video where I had to answer four questions, a 2-hour question and answer session that needed a written response, and then a 1.5 hour interview. I understand the selection process is strenuous and many companies do it. My problem is that I spent over 5-6 hours on this process and got to the final step only to be told, 'I just don't think you have enough experience.' This should have been identified much earlier. Also, one of my interviewers was late and had connectivity issues, so I'm not sure she heard all my answers. They were also not transparent about compensation, saying 'we don't make six figures,' but I never got a salary range confirmation.

It was a pretty long interview process. First, there was a one-way interview where I had to answer some questions on a third-party platform via recorded video. If they liked my video, the next step was an in-person interview via Zoom, which was like a typical professional interview to get to know me and my experiences. This led to a second Zoom interview where they asked more about my experience and how it relates to the job. Then, I got a link for a personality assessment and a written answer report that I had to complete within a two-hour window. It's important to take this part seriously and focus.
