First interview with hr/recruiter went great, they wanted to speed up the process and schedule with their DM quickly. I followed up a few days later and we set up the second interview for Tuesday at 2pm. But at 1:50pm I received an email to reschedule. No problem, we rescheduled for the next day Wednesday at 2pm. However, no one showed up for the interview, no email, no reschedule, and then radio silence for 2 weeks. It was unprofessional and disrespectful of my time, and confusing to schedule the second interview if they weren't hiring anymore. Disappointed because I really wanted to work with this company.

I applied on the Myeyedr website and heard back about a week later to schedule a Teams interview with the DM. We went over my resume and experience. They asked me some general questions about my management experience. The interview felt informal and friendly. We also discussed the position's expectations and goals.

Pamela, the recruiter, reached out via email and we scheduled an initial phone call to discuss the General Manager position and review my resume. She asked about my salary expectations and was transparent that the GM role salary was lower than I was looking for. She noticed my multi-unit management experience and suggested a District Manager role might better align with my salary goals. While unsure of immediate openings, she believed a DM position would become available soon due to company growth. She asked to forward my resume to the Regional Manager for consideration when a DM role opened up, and I agreed. We then discussed my background further, and I enjoyed our conversation. Pamela was very enthusiastic about MyEyeDr and its growth, which was contagious. I look forward to future conversations.
