Had a short basic interview where 20 people were in a room together. It was a get-to-know-your-peers type of process. They asked some basic questions about my personal experiences in the industry. After that, they basically decide if they want you.
- What is your previous retail experience?
- What about your experience in similar fast-paced environments?
- Tell me about your personal experiences in this industry.

Applied a few weeks ago and got interviewed, then got the offer a few days later. The interview had 3 parts. First, they showed a video about Myer and the manager asked questions about the company, like who founded it and its exclusive brands. I didn't know the answers and don't think they mattered much. Second, a group introduction where everyone introduced themselves and answered questions like favorite color and why they want to work there. Third, a role-play which seemed important for showing sales skills. We picked an item to sell to the manager. I chose socks. The manager said socks are Myer's favorite product. Tips: pick a low-cost item with a discount. At the end, ask about a Myer one card. Good luck!
- What is your favorite color?

The interview process was smooth, and we were informed of our job offer on the same day. The online onboarding process seamlessly transitioned into the in-store induction. During a group interview, we were asked to complete a few activities, and we were also given a tour of the store and shown what it offers.
