Office Administrator
I went through a standard interview process. First, there was a preliminary call, and then a Zoom meeting. The first interview was with someone from the corporate office, and the second one was with the campus president. It was a pleasant experience overall.
- What attracted you to this company?
HR Generalist
I spoke first with the Recruiter who checked my background and interest in the job. Then I met with the HR Director, who clearly explained the job requirements, including the necessary communication skills. After that, I had my first in-person interview.
- Tell me about your qualifications and how they will contribute to your success in this field.
- What specific qualifications do you possess that align with the demands of this role?
- How do your qualifications make you a strong candidate for this position?
Instructor
The interview process started with a long phone call from the recruiter, followed by an interview with a technical instructor, and then an interview with the director. I felt I did alright on the technical parts, but some of the classroom-related questions were a bit tough. It's a good sign that the managers and recruiter have been with the company for a while. The recruiter's technical questions were pretty high-level, but the second interview was more challenging technically. Be ready for a lengthy recruiter call. They also had us teach them DHCP in a group setting, which was definitely nerve-wracking. I didn't end up meeting the Director.
- Can you tell me about your salary expectations?
- Would you be willing to relocate?
- Tell me about your technical knowledge of CompTIA, Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, OSI, VLANs, and subnetting.
Technical Instructor
The culture felt fake. The recruiter was unprofessional and misleading. The goal was to determine if I was qualified and then tell me what I needed to get an interview. There was no information about benefits or what to expect. This was a three-step interview process, and I started to understand the company better with each stage.
- Can you describe the OSI model?
- Can you explain VLANs?
- Can you describe Branch Cache?
