After applying online, I was given a short aptitude test to do at home about company and personal values. After that, I was invited to an assessment centre in Dublin. This involved networking, a group activity where we had to build a structure, and an interview with two company representatives.

So the interview process had a few parts. First, we did a group exercise where we had to build the Eiffel Tower or a bridge using Lego. Then, in the first part of the interview, I had to present why I wanted to work for Murphy and also talk about any relevant experience like CW or internships. The second part of the interview involved answering about 4-5 general questions and 3 technical ones.

I applied online and heard nothing for a week, then got an email saying my application wasn't being considered. Surprisingly, about 3 months later, they emailed again to see if I was still interested and set up an interview. It was pretty casual, more like a chat. They said I was a perfect fit and wanted me to come back for a second interview with a manager who was away at the time. They said they'd arrange it within a week, but I never heard back. Total waste of my time.
