The interview process began with a phone interview. This was followed by an in-person interview with two people, Max and Ross. Honestly, it was the most unprofessional and uncomfortable interview I've ever experienced. They seemed totally unprepared and had really dull personalities. They asked strange questions and didn't even know basic details about the job. I couldn't wait to leave. It was just a really weird and uncomfortable time. I sent them an email that evening to thank them and ask to be withdrawn from consideration, but I never heard back. A few days later, I got a rejection letter, which I was actually happy to get.

I applied online through LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter based in Honduras, which seemed unusual. After a month of silence, the branch manager reached out for a call with basic questions and then invited me for an in-person interview. This was followed by a call from the RVP who wanted to meet at a different location. During this meeting, we had a general industry discussion, and he focused on how I would improve the branch. He indicated I was the chosen candidate and that I would hear back in a few days, but I've been ghosted since then, despite my follow-up attempts.

Behavioral Presentation

I first met with a recruiter at a career fair and then spoke on the phone. After that, I was sent to a branch to meet the team and stay overnight. I got a tour of the branch and learned a lot. I then interviewed with the managers of each department: parts, service, and the branch manager. The company arranged a hotel and took us out to dinner. The branch manager drove us around after we'd all been drinking for a while, which was pretty unprofessional.

After submitting my online application, I waited a couple days and then gave them a call. They immediately asked me to schedule an interview for the next day. The interview itself was very quick and concise. The interviewer was skilled and knew how to conduct and control an interview.
