Multivision Java Developer Interview Questions

I applied for the Java Developer job through Monster and had a phone interview which lasted for about half an hour. Before the actual interview, I was given some study materials to prepare for the questions. The interview covered fundamental Java concepts, with a focus on polymorphism. We also discussed database systems, specifically basic MySQL concepts, and the software development lifecycle. They also mentioned that familiarity with my resume would be important as it would be discussed. Other topics included final, finally, and nested classes.

I applied and heard back from a recruiter. The whole thing took about two weeks. The recruiter sent me some stuff to help me prepare for interviews, like links and PDFs. They kept in touch via phone and email to see if I was ready. After sending the prep materials, an interview was scheduled. My first interview was over the phone. I had three interviews in total on different days. They tend to ask the same questions but in different ways. The trick is to give consistent answers. It took about 10 days after the interviews to get an offer. They asked me basic questions about the job and the company and its products. Also, some situational questions on how I would handle things. The number of interviews makes it feel like they really want to be sure about their hiring decision. It's a really relaxed place to work. The company thinks that if you take good care of the employees, they'll take good care of the company! Great perks and a great place to work.

This was a technical phone interview where I was sent a PDF to study beforehand. They called me at the scheduled time and asked several questions that were only loosely related to the study guide, which I found a bit unexpected. The interview was quite short, under 15 minutes, and I got the impression they were looking for very specific answers. The questions were mainly about definitions and didn't really delve into the nuances of software development.
