First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Multi Dimensional Integration.
Controls Engineer
You get invited to a career event where they introduce the company and the people. After that, there's an online interview to get to know you. If you pass, you move on to an in-person interview. Success in the in-person interview depends on the interviewer; some are genuinely interested, while others can be difficult if you make mistakes or aren't well-prepared. You need to be punctual, dressed appropriately, and speak clearly to get the job.
- What is your dream job?
- What do you like most about MDI?
Controls Engineer
The interview had a lot of behavioral questions with very few technical ones. They asked about my preferences in different work environments, like my willingness to work odd hours or travel frequently. They also inquired about my interest in moving into business-related roles and presented some business-related scenarios.
- If you're working on an important project, and another task comes up which requires your help immediately, would you stop your current project and shift to the new work?
Controls Engineer
I had an interview in Baltimore. They flew me out, gave me a rental car, and put me up in a hotel nearby. The next day, I had my interview, and then they flew me back. It was a boardroom style interview with two engineers and an HR representative. It started with the technical part and then went into the non-technical part. The environment was professional but relaxed.
- Can you tell me about your experience with PLCs?
