So, this interview process had a few stages. It started with a basic phone chat with the HR person. After that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. This interview went pretty well, and it resulted in a video interview with two people. I felt like this interview also went well, as we spent the entire time talking about the job and my experience. They told me then to expect to hear back about the status within the next two weeks. After those two weeks passed, I tried to follow up on the job status with the HR folks I'd been in touch with. When they did get back to me via email or phone, they would just give me a superficial response that they'd check on the status, but they never actually followed up. It's been 7 months now, and I haven't even gotten an automated rejection. For a 3-step interview process that took over a month, you'd think the least this company could do is send a simple rejection, but apparently, that's not happening.

The interview process included a case interview (with a model and case study) which I passed. After that, there were 3 rounds in a panel interview: one with the team lead, then the hiring manager, and finally the product partner. The whole process took quite a while. While the HR department wasn't very forthcoming with feedback, the recruiting coordinator was really responsive and helpful throughout.

After submitting my resume, I heard back about 1-2 weeks later about a Zoom Superday. I talked with a director and another employee and they asked me a lot of questions based on my resume and work experience. I didn't get any technical questions; it was mostly about my background and how I work.
