Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MSS Security.
Security Officer
The interview process was pretty straightforward if you're experienced and know your stuff. Nothing much else to add, just typical questions for this kind of job. The pay and people seemed good.
- Can you share your previous experience?
- How would you approach a challenging situation?
- Describe a scenario where you dealt with a difficult situation.
Security Officer
The interview had many questions specific to security work. If you didn't have prior security job experience, you wouldn't be able to answer about half the questions. I was only allowed to talk about what I actually did if the situation happened to me. They didn't want me to explain what I would have done, so I had to skip those.
- Describe a time you handled someone attempting unauthorized access.
- What actions did you take when someone fell down?
Security Officer
They will ask questions and then give answers. We'll go over the selection criteria. You'll need to talk about your background in education and work experience. Also, what skills you have and how you use them. After that, just wait for an email or a call.
- Can you share some information about yourself and your past roles?
- Could you elaborate on your educational history and professional background?
- Describe the skills you have and how you apply them in practice.
