Case Presentation Behavioral Other

I went through a 3 round interview process for a client coverage role. It ended with a final presentation and sales simulation. I spent a lot of time preparing for the case study and presentation. Then I got a rejection with very little feedback, saying I didn't have enough sales seniority. It's weird that they let me get to the final presentation if seniority was an issue, because multiple screening steps had already happened and I thought I was being considered for the role. The interview panel wasn't what was scheduled. Some people who were supposed to be there didn't show up, and others who weren't part of the main team showed up instead. One senior person had their camera and mic off the whole time, which was super awkward and made it seem like they weren't really paying attention. Even though I politely asked for feedback after the decision, neither HR nor the hiring team gave me anything useful. The whole process took a lot of time, effort, and prep from my side, but I didn't feel like they showed the same respect or transparency back. For a company that says it's a top data and analytics provider, I expected a much more organized and professional recruitment process.

Behavioral Technical

This was a 6-round interview process that took 3 months to complete. It involved interviews with an Executive Director, two Senior Consultants (who were the entire team), a Vice President in Budapest, a Managing Director in Italy, an HR representative in Geneva, and a Talent Acquisition specialist in London. The questions covered behavioral and finance topics. It was the longest process I've experienced, and it lacked professionalism, with significant delays and then ghosting after seemingly serious interviews. My interest in the firm has completely disappeared due to this unprofessional conduct.

I interviewed with 2 Executive Directors and one Managing Director. The 4th and final interview was with HR and it was conducted in English. The process moved quite quickly, and I got an offer within two weeks of starting. It was a smooth process, and some interviewers gave feedback immediately after the interview. One of the interviews took longer than expected, but it wasn't a big deal.
