Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MSCI.
Client Service Associate
Three rounds with various people that a Client Service Associate would interact with on the job. During the second round, they had me share my screen and do Excel in front of them; just a simple vlookup so nothing to stress about.
- Share your screen and perform a VLOOKUP in Excel.
Client Service Associate
They were happy to conduct all the interviews remotely, which was super convenient for everyone. There were quite a few interviews, but honestly, it felt worth it in the end, and I never had to wait more than two days to hear back from them.
- Could you tell me more about yourself and your past experiences?
- What were your responsibilities and accomplishments in your previous positions?
- What are your career aspirations and what do you hope to gain from this role?
Client Service Associate
Started with a call from a recruiter, then had a video chat with two senior associates and a VP from the EMEA team. It was a chill interview where they asked about my background and CV, and we also talked about ESG ratings.
- How does your past experience connect with the requirements of this role?
- What makes MSCI an appealing organization for your career growth?
- Can you elaborate on how your background and CV align with this position?
