First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mr. Cooper.
Data Analyst
It was a 2 round process, the first round was with the hiring manager and the second round was with the recruiter. They were super fast with the feedback. The interview covered SQL and behavioral questions. The SQL part focused on aggregation and window functions. They provided several tables and asked me to identify the reports with specific columns.
- Can you identify customers who made their initial payment during 2022, using the provided data?
Data Analyst
I went through the campus interview process at my college. The first round was online, featuring aptitude and technical multiple-choice questions. After that, the interviews were offline. The second round was a long programming session, which was a system design round. We were given a use case and had to build a console application, making sure to use OOPS concepts. The third round was a technical interview that lasted about two hours, covering DBMS, DSA, OOPS, and questions from my resume. One person was selected directly for the HR round, but I and a few others went for a second technical interview round, which covered the same concepts again. Finally, there was an HR round. Three of us who made it to the HR round were selected, and I was one of them.
- Tell me about your understanding of DBMS.
- Can you explain your knowledge of DSA?
- Describe your grasp of OOPS concepts.
Data Analyst
You start with a phone chat with HR where they ask about you and some behavioral stuff. Then, a couple days later, you have a Zoom meeting with some nice senior analysts.
- Can you tell me about your past projects and internships based on your resume?
