Client Experience Manager
The interview process was okay, but it was way too long. It felt like a never-ending marathon or a presidential campaign. As someone who studied HR, I was surprised by how exclusive they made it, with 7 stages, which isn't ideal. Communication seemed siloed between interviewers, which was a red flag. HR gave interview themes, but not everyone followed them. Some feedback was given during the interview, but the response from senior management when I answered their question honestly revealed their culture, and it wasn't great. It felt like a bully/blame culture. When I asked about a day in the role, it seemed like onboarding wasn't a strong area and the workplace might be chaotic, especially since they mentioned all training materials used to be on Slack. Red flags kept popping up that matched negative reviews, so be cautious when applying.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your experience?
Client Experience Manager
I applied for this role online. The recruiter reached out via email, and the overall process was quite drawn out. While the recruiter was responsive and helpful, the hiring team seemed to have very high expectations, almost as if they expected candidates to have an exhaustive knowledge of the company before even starting. It felt like a comprehensive examination.
- I was informed that I would need to wait for three weeks to receive the final answer.
Office Manager
The interview process was really fast from start to finish, but it was pretty thorough with about 6 stages. It gave me a good sense of the company culture, my potential manager, and the product. First, there was a phone call with the recruiter to talk about my expectations and career goals. Then, I had a video interview with the manager, which was about an hour long and covered competency-based questions, product knowledge, and company knowledge. After that, I had an in-person interview with about three team members to see if it was a mutual fit. Then, there was another quick video interview with the Ops director to make sure I was the right fit for Movable Ink, and I learned about potential career paths. Finally, I had to go back to the office to do a background check and hand in my documents in person. My recruiter was super helpful, keeping me updated with feedback throughout and really speeding things up.
- What are your career aspirations for the next two years?
- Can you tell me what you understand about our product?
