It was a technical coding questions theory questions OOPs-related coding questions some hr related questions plus data structures algorithms system design databases SQL debugging optimization patterns multithreading APIs testing problem-solving communication leadership teamwork kind of interview. This was split into a few rounds, starting with a recruiter call, then some technical screening, and finally an onsite interview.

The Mouser hiring process was one of the best I've had. Everything was super clear, well-organized, and everyone was really nice. First, I had an interview on Teams with the HR Generalist. Then, I had an in-person interview at their Milan office with the Customer Service Manager. I always felt heard and like they saw me as a person, not just another applicant. They always got back to me quickly, were professional, and had a warm approach, which I really appreciated. Regardless of the outcome, I'm thankful for how smoothly everything went – it shows a company that truly values its people.

I went through two interview rounds. The first was with the hiring manager, and it focused on a coding question. It was easy: they gave me a mathematical string and asked me to determine if it had balanced parentheses. The second interview was a panel with about four or five people. We met the team, and they asked me more situational or behavioral questions, like what the most challenging aspect of my previous job was or what makes a good developer. Both interviews were conducted online via Zoom.

Applied for an internship in late November and got an email for a phone interview two days later. The phone interview was pretty basic, asking about my resume and projects. After that, I was invited for two in-person interviews: one with my potential manager and another with a panel of HR folks. My in-person interview was in early January. I got a tour while waiting for the manager. Then, I interviewed with the manager and the VP of HR together. I guess someone else was supposed to be there for the panel but didn't show up. The interview went okay; I was a bit unprepared since it was my first real one. The VP was a bit intense and challenged my answers, but everyone else was nice. I was told I'd hear back in two weeks. It's been over two weeks, so I emailed for an update and was told they were still interviewing and would decide soon. It's been over a month since that email, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job.
