Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MOURI Tech.
Associate Trainee
I went through the recruitment process which had an online assessment (aptitude + cognitive), an in-person group discussion, and an in-person technical interview. The online assessment and group discussion were fine. The technical round was a bit odd though. Three people were on the panel and they had me write a program using ArrayList. They asked questions related to my resume, but didn't seem very engaged when I explained my approach. It felt rushed, and I didn't feel like they were really checking my thought process. I also had a feeling that by the time I was interviewed, they might have already selected most of the candidates they needed, so it felt like they were interviewing the rest of us just to complete the process. This made me lose confidence during the discussion. Despite that, it was good practice for interview pressure and taught me to stay calm even if the panel isn't interactive. It was a learning experience and helped me get ready for future interviews.

Associate Trainee
I applied through campus for this AI/ML or cybersecurity role. The first round was an online aptitude test, followed by a group discussion (GD). Then there was a face-to-face technical interview, which was quite difficult. Finally, there was an HR round. All rounds except HR were elimination rounds.
- Could you write code for data preprocessing techniques?
- Can you write code for separating data values?
Associate Trainee
So, I applied for an AI/ML role, and the entire interview was focused on that. But, they told me beforehand that for freshers, the job title would actually be Associate Trainer. First, there was an online aptitude test, which was a screening round. Then, we moved to an in-office group discussion, where I had to do it twice, each for 10 minutes with 8 people. After that, another in-office technical interview with one person, and finally, an in-office HR interview. All these rounds were elimination rounds.
- I had to participate in GD twice.
- Each GD had 8 members, with a strict time limit of 10 minutes.
- First topic: Work from Home vs. Work from Office
