Key Holder
It was a really chill and informal process. I had a phone call first, and then went to the store for my second interview. They asked me straightforward questions about my previous work and retail background.
- Can you tell me about your past retail experience?
Team Member
The interview process was very casual and friendly. During the interview, you speak both professionally and personally. You can tell their employers want to find the best match for their team and look for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, and work-driven.
- What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses, in your opinion?
Sales Representative
The interview process was straightforward and I felt really comfortable. I actually enjoyed it and thought the interviewer was engaged and genuinely cared about my answers. I really wanted the job and I think getting the interviewer on my side helped.

- Can you tell me about your relevant experience?
Sales Associate
Applied in April 2015 and got a response quickly, with the owner offering an interview. After I gave my availability, I didn't hear back for two months, despite multiple attempts to contact them. When I relocated to the area, I visited the store and was given the manager's and assistant manager's emails. I emailed them and the owner several times with no reply. Weeks later, the owner finally contacted me in August to schedule the interview. The interview with the assistant manager went well. However, when I tried to follow up, the owner didn't respond. The manager mentioned the interview window was still open nearly a month later. Still hopeful, I reapplied in October and got another interview, which was brief as the manager recognized me. I was told I'd hear back by the start of the following week but received no response. I followed up again, but the manager said he hadn't heard from the owner. After a break, I returned a week later with no update. I emailed and visited the store three times, leaving my contact info, but never got a call back. Finally, I spoke to the manager at the store and was informed that hiring was on hold, which he could have communicated three weeks earlier. I wasn't contacted again.
- Can you describe yourself in three words?
