The interviewer was late and didn't apologize. They didn't provide any information about the role or the company. They only asked about my experiences but seemed uninterested in my answers, like they were just going through the motions. At the end, when I offered to email some information they had requested, they said it wasn't necessary, implying I wouldn't move on to the next stages.

I had an initial phone call with the recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager and another manager. After that, there was a final panel interview with about 5 people, including the current UX Writer. They said I'd hear back early next week, but I never did after the last round.

The interview process was a full day, beginning with a presentation of my portfolio. Following that, I had several one-on-one interviews. In the middle of it all, there was a technical exercise and a working lunch. It was quite intense and made me reflect on my professional experience. The interviewers were very focused, not confrontational. The office environment was new, bright, and felt very much like Google. It seems like an exciting, challenging place to work, though with the Google takeover, everything is in flux and roles are still evolving.
