I had an initial chat with my manager, then talked with two other senior managers. They asked some basic questions, and a few skill-based technical ones. We also talked about potential projects, and I mostly asked them about what they do in their roles.

It was a meeting with several interns at the same time, and they moved on to a pre-interview with 3 people in charge, if I'm not mistaken. In this part, they assess technical knowledge and ask questions relevant to the position, which I only found out what it was during the interview. I found the interviewers, or at least the one leading, impatient and quite arrogant. They'd cut you off while you were speaking, rude enough to raise their voice to correct something. And I believe that for all the skills they want, they shouldn't be looking for an intern but, at least, a junior. They wanted someone with experience in the job qualifications. I didn't feel comfortable with the atmosphere, and I didn't do well. I've participated in other interviews with this evaluation format, I did well in some and others I didn't do so well, but even so, I'd leave the interview delighted with the company, but that wasn't the case this time. I believe it's a rigid company that isn't yet in line with the more modern ones in terms of human structure. A lot to improve on this point, despite being a large global company and quite recognized. ps: HR is external, the one who scheduled the interview wasn't from the company, the evaluators were from the company.

This was by far the worst interview experience I've had. The HR person was great and set everything up nicely. However, the hiring manager was 20 minutes late for the virtual interview. He was at home, dressed casually, and clearly hadn't reviewed my resume as he didn't know anything about my background. He started by saying my background wasn't what they were looking for, which was confusing given the job description. He also seemed unsure about the intern's responsibilities and the details he had written for the role. Throughout the interview, he was rude and made several unpleasant comments. Given my previous interview experiences and three college internships, I believe my frustration is justified. I'm not sure about others' experiences, but good luck to you!
