Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Motive.
Customer Success Manager
The interview process included 5 steps and took 1-month. It started with a phone screen, a 1-1 with the Hiring Manager, a language assessment, a presentation of your Territory Plan, and a 1-1 with the Country Director.
- Can you describe how you would segment your book of business?
- How do you organize your daily activities to ensure successful execution?
- What resources and support do you anticipate needing from Motive or leadership?
Customer Success Manager
Enjoyed talking with the folks here. Started with a Recruiter call, then the first round was with the team's Manager, whom I hold in high regard. The second round involved a presentation/assignment done in front of a panel. There would have been more rounds if they advanced me - unfortunately, I missed this interview due to my own scheduling error and they proceeded without me.

Customer Success Manager
Had a first call with the company recruiter, then had 3 more separate calls with people on the team. Things seemed to be going well until the recruiters went silent. I'm fine with not getting the job, but being ghosted by a recruiter and everyone I spoke with is really unprofessional. If you interview with them, be prepared for your time and effort to be disrespected with no follow-up, not even a quick generic email saying you didn't make it.
- Tell me about how you've managed change in your past jobs.
