It started with a phone screening, followed by a GoToMeeting interview on my university campus. The interaction was pleasant, but it felt like everyone was getting a phone interview. The main part was a PowerPoint presentation about two companies MotionPoint doesn't work with yet and why they'd be a good fit. It was supposed to be followed by a 15-minute discussion, but the interviewer cut it short for an errand.

Presentation Technical Behavioral

A really unique, tough, and fun interview process. Surprisingly, there were 3 rounds, and each one was enjoyable. It did need a lot of prep, but it paid off and you learn a ton. The interview vibe gets more casual by the third round. The recruiters are great!

I applied via my university and had a pre-career fair interview. It was 1:1, asking about my skills and the role. Then, I had a video interview requiring a 15-min presentation on the company, its clients, and potential future clients. This felt like a lot of work, almost the job itself, and they seemed more interested in new client ideas than my input. The next interview was at their office. We started with a tour, which was odd because I learned new things not found online, making me question what they were hiding. I also noticed only 10% of employees were female, and they were segregated, which made me uncomfortable. Then came an IQ test, which surprised me. After that, they asked company-specific questions about competitors, founders, and clients that weren't researchable online, which felt unfair. I had two more 1:1 interviews where I asked most of the questions. Finally, I presented my PowerPoint to three people who again seemed indifferent to the content, just wanting new client ideas. I felt overqualified and didn't get an offer after dedicating days to the presentation.
