This was the longest hiring process EVER! It took 5 interviews over the course of 3 months! The questions were mostly behavioral, asking about how I react under different circumstances, or to give an example of a time I had a difficult customer service experience and how I handled it. Other interviews asked about my experience working one-on-one with customers, and my ability or comfort level to do bra fittings with expectant mothers, who can sometimes be emotional. 3 interviews were done by the District Manager, 1 with the Regional Manager, and 1 with a Store Manager from another store.

So, the interview with my District Manager was mostly a formality since I was potentially going to be promoted to Store Manager from TSL. The RGM had already interviewed me and I guess that went well. My DM went over the detailed job description, what they expect, and the requirements. They also shared some info about bonuses for store managers who hit their targets every month and quarter.

I applied online and the area manager called me really fast, within an hour. I then had a sit-down with the District Manager, and she was great. About a week later, I had a phone interview with another District Manager. They ended up going with someone else who had more experience. A month after that, the District Manager called me for another interview, and then I was hired. Turns out the Store Manager they hired didn't work out, so they called me back!
