It was a 3 stage process. I met with the manager and it was friendly. It's my first job so they asked realistic questions. It included scenario based questions and general questions about experience etc. Also about my availability to work and I got a chance to see the place.

Group Behavioral

So the first thing was this group interview, there were about 10 of us for 4 spots. We did some ice breakers where we all introduced ourselves and shared a fun fact. Then, we were split into two groups and given a product from the store. We had 15 minutes to prep an advert to perform for the other group, highlighting the product's benefits and what Mothercare offers. The managers were taking notes during this. After that, they brought us back to the shop floor and thanked us. The whole thing took about an hour and a half. The next day, I got a call saying they wanted me to come in for a one-on-one with a manager. It was super chill, like a casual chat, I guess to see what I'm like as a person. That took around 30 minutes. A few days later, they called to offer me the job.

We'll chat about your CV and skills. There's no written test. The interview includes group exercises and a task where you'll model products to show off your sales techniques. You'll need to be confident in selling products and demonstrate teamwork. It would be helpful if you researched pushchairs and car seats.
