Got an email saying I was selected for a group assessment/interview. It was with a big group of about 14 people and 2 managers from two different stores, not the one I applied to. It was a pretty long process, we had to say three facts about ourselves. Then, in groups, we had to explain a product to the rest of the group. There wasn't any pressure to contribute if you didn't want to, but you'd probably need to if you want the job. After that, I had a one-on-one interview with one of the managers and then I was done. I was there from 1 PM to about 4:30 PM, and overall it was a pretty positive experience.

I applied online with my CV. I was emailing back and forth with recruitment about flexibility and hours. By the time they had all the answers, the interview slots were gone and they weren't moving forward with my application. The morning of the interviews, I got a call because someone dropped out. I went to the interview and was waiting on the shop floor for a while as the manager was busy with customers. He then told me to follow him and walked fast to the office, which I had to run to keep up. In the interview, he didn't have a record of me, but luckily I brought a CV. He seemed nervous, which put me on edge. I tried to joke and chat my way through answering every question with an answer and an example. I felt it went well and I asked some questions at the end about the company and the interview process. He said he'd call the candidates who got the job on Monday. I haven't heard anything since and am waiting for feedback.

They rang me to arrange an interview 2 days after I applied, I came in the next day and the interview went well. A week later they phoned me and asked me to do a trial shift. The trial shift was interacting with customers, price checking and checking stock room for stock. They phoned me the next morning and offered me the job. The process was about two weeks.
