I went through 4 calls for this job. First, I had a screening call with the recruiter. Then, I spoke with the manager, followed by the senior manager, and finally the director. It felt like a pretty standard process. I kind of wish they would have combined some of the interviews though. On the plus side, they were pretty quick to move me through the steps.

Behavioral

The interview process is pretty straightforward, not too difficult if you're genuine. It's a good idea to try and connect with the partners beforehand. The key is honesty; don't fabricate your experience, as they can easily tell. They're sharp and can spot insincerity quickly.

I had a phone interview with the recruiter. I mentioned that I wanted to switch from tax to audit during the call. Two weeks later, I was invited to meet with the team onsite. Knowing that I have tax background, the audit partner stated that they were looking for someone with audit experience. I was disappointed about the whole process. If the recruiter knew that they only hired someone with audit background, why would they waste both of our times for the interview? The recruiter should have told me at the very first place. It is very unprofessional.
