First, I had a 30 min phone call with the hiring manager. They asked some simple tech questions. Then, I had an in-person interview with 3 other developers. They asked simple tech questions and mostly wanted to check how I fit with the team culture.

Behavioral

I met them at the college career fair, gave them my resume, and they called me later that day for an interview. It was a 3-person panel interview where they asked mostly behavioral questions. You really need to know your resume inside and out. One person was taking notes while the other two asked questions. The main interviewer had a list and asked most of the questions from it. The other interviewer would ask follow-up questions for more detail or to be more specific. It felt pretty tough because I felt like the second interviewer was really scrutinizing me, asking extra questions or making comments. It seemed like she was trying to make me second-guess myself. The note-taker didn't ask any questions or say anything.

It's a multi-stage process for hiring new folks. Usually, it goes like this: writing up a job description, posting the job, setting up interviews, doing some preliminary interviews, then the in-person interviews, and finally following up and making a hire.
