Account Executive
I applied online and an HR person reached out for a phone screen. We tried to set up a series of interviews but they kept getting cancelled or rescheduled last minute, which made me think they were either disorganized or really overloaded. The interview itself was pretty standard, mostly about whether I'd fit in with the team and clients. It felt like they had a high turnover rate and dealt with a difficult client. After meeting three times, I figured I'd hear back about whether they were moving forward with my application.

- What is your understanding of our company?
Account Executive
I put in my application online and then a human resources person reached out to set up a Skype call with the person I'd be reporting to. Turns out, they couldn't get the software working, so we just did it over the phone. It went so well that they told me to come down to Dallas the very next day for an in-person meeting. I made the drive, saw the offices, and then sat down with them to chat about the team they were building, what my part would be, and their future plans. It was way more about the account than it was about me.
- What value do you think you can add to this team?
