It was a pretty standard interview process. First, a phone screen where they asked the usual stuff like 'tell me about yourself,' 'why you applied,' and 'what you’re looking for from your next position.' Then, they scheduled an in-person interview a few days later with the Regional Property Manager. During that meeting, they went into more detail about the job and asked about my long-term plans in property management. They also asked about my salary expectations, which were a bit higher than their budget, but they were open to negotiating. They seemed happy with me and offered me the job on the spot! A few days later, I got the official offer letter. The background check was thorough; they contacted all my references and even tried to reach out for more when they couldn't get a hold of the initial ones. They even called me to clarify an address from my past that was on the background check, as it didn't quite match up with my resume timeline. I finished my drug screening within two days of being asked, and I started the job about one to two weeks after getting the offer.

I applied online on their website and a recruiter from the region reached out. She gave me a quick overview of the job and checked if I was still interested. Then, I had an informal chat, more like a conversation than an interview, with the Regional Manager over Microsoft Teams.

The interview process was very easy, not hard at all. If you study and know your work beforehand, you'll get the job. I took the job in Philly and later transferred to central Jersey. It was a great job with better benefits.
