Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morgan & Morgan.
Attorney
Had two interviews. The first was very short, only 5 minutes. They seemed really eager to get me to agree with their methods, emphasizing that the firm's success is due to doing things "the Morgan way." Honestly, the whole experience was terrible and made me want to leave immediately. There were too many warning signs; it felt really toxic.
- Would you be willing to do everything in accordance with "the Morgan way"?
Attorney
I was contacted by the firm and then scheduled for an interview. I met with the lead attorney in my department and we talked about the position and my goals. We also discussed salary, benefits, and future opportunities. After they made an offer, which I accepted, they did an extensive background check that took several weeks to finish.
- What sparked your interest in joining this firm?
Attorney
Started with a phone call with someone from talent acquisition. Then I went in person to chat with a local attorney. After that, I had a zoom meeting with the attorney who would be my supervisor and team lead. They did a background and conflicts check, and then I got a written offer. The onboarding process was really supportive.
- The interview focused heavily on assessing my cultural and personality fit and my enthusiasm for trial work.
