It was a pretty straightforward in-person interview that lasted about an hour. I had a bit of trouble finding parking, which led to a delay involving public safety before I could get to the interview location. Two interviewers conducted the interview, taking turns asking questions.

I applied in April 2022 and heard back about two weeks later. I emailed back and set up a virtual meeting with the Chief People Officer. This meeting was really off from the start. They asked about my experience, and when I answered, they downplayed it, saying I was overqualified, but then mentioned I applied for a lower-level role because of the school's 'reputation.' When I asked about my long-term goals, they said they just needed someone to fill the spot, basically looking for a warm body. It was super unprofessional and disappointing, especially from an HR Exec representing the school. The interview ended abruptly after I shared my long-term goals, which were about staying long-term and moving up in the organization. The person's facial expressions made it seem like they were shocked someone wanted that, almost as if my goals were intimidating. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up! My advice: always be professional, because you represent the school's HR.

I applied online and HR got back to me in about 5 business days. A virtual interview was set up for about 5-7 business days later. The interview itself was pretty chill and welcoming, and it was virtual. I didn't get an offer and didn't hear back from anyone after that, which was kind of a bummer and shows a lack of professionalism. Oh well, good luck to them and I'm glad I saw the Glassdoor reviews beforehand!
