The interview was the first of three parts. It was remote and took a whole day, which felt long for an initial interview. It was split into 3 sections, and you were told if you didn't pass after each, so for some, it didn't take the full day. The first section was a LeetCode-style test lasting about 1.5 hours. It covered theoretical concepts on multithreading and math, and also required implementing a searching algorithm. The second section involved building a small project from scratch within approximately 2 hours. The project requirements were vaguely described, requiring us to figure out the design and implementation. While not complex algorithmically, it was technical.

Had a phone call with HR first, then a full-day interview via Zoom. It kicked off with a company overview of Moovit. Afterwards, there were 4 questions on a separate platform. By the end of that, HR would tell you if you're moving on to the next stage that same day, or if you didn't make it.

  • Given an array representing stock price *changes*, find the maximum profit possible.

Talked with HR. Got a home assignment that took about an hour and a half. Then a technical interview that was about three hours long, but I didn't pass. I feel like after the first HR chat, there should have been one or two technical interviews and then an HR interview.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What is your approach to design questions?
  • Can you solve this threads problem?
  • Here is a standard coding problem for you.
