First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moon Active.
Delivery Manager
The interview process started with an online meeting with the hiring manager to discuss my background, experience, and how I work. Then, I had an on-site interview with the hiring manager and the studio R&D manager. This part was mostly behavioral and experience-focused, covering topics like managing team issues, speeding up project schedules, dealing with feedback, and what my performance is like according to managers. Following the interviews, I was given a take-home task to break down the steps for a new game level, which seemed like a good way to show how I think and manage delivery. Overall, the process felt clear, respectful, and relevant to the job, with a good mix of personal, management, and practical elements.
- Can you describe how you manage challenges within a team?
- What are your strategies for reducing project timelines?
- Tell me about your process for receiving and implementing feedback.
PMO Manager
We started with a phone call, then there was a technical interview, an HR interview, and a management interview, finishing with a presentation. I only made it to the first technical interview. Since it was during Covid, everything was done over Zoom.
- Tell me about a project you managed that didn't go well or one that was successful.
Senior Manager
Had a really good chat where they explained what the job is about and what the company does. Good vibes and it moved fast. Started with a phone call, then a zoom meeting. Next up is meeting in person at the office.
- What makes you want to change your current role?
