First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moon Active.
BI Developer
The recruitment process for the BI Developer role at Moon Active started with a recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn. After an initial phone chat, I was brought in for an in-person interview with a team lead and a group manager. Next, I had a take-home test which had 3 SQL questions, 3 ETL questions, and 3 questions about the game business (like asking for KPI examples). Once I sent that in, I had an HR interview, then an interview with the department head. To wrap things up, they asked for two references. The whole thing felt really fast, smooth, and super professional.
- What motivates your interest in working for Moon Active?
BI Developer
The interview process was pretty great! Everyone I met was super nice and they tried to make it go as quickly as possible. It had 8 stages, which sounds like a lot, but it was all done in 2 weeks (it would've been faster if it wasn't for Rosh Hashana). First, there was an HR phone call (Zoom). Then, I talked to two team leaders (Zoom). After that, I had a professional test with three parts: SQL queries, business questions, and ETL questions. Later, the team leader went over my answers and asked some follow-up questions (Zoom). Then, I interviewed with the Director of BI (Zoom). After that, I had an interview with HR in person. Then, I met with the General Manager in person. Finally, they checked my references and we talked about the contract.
