I applied on the website after attending a company fair. The whole thing took 3 weeks, though they kindly gave me an extra week to study Node JS. First, HR gave me a quick call to chat about my background and a cool project I'd done. Then, I had a 1-hour technical chat with the team lead at their office. A couple of days later, I got a take-home assignment which I finished a few days after. After that, I got a call saying I was moving on. The same day, I had two 1-hour interviews at the office: one with the Automation Manager and another with HR. Two days later, I had a 1-hour technical interview with the head of QA. Then they asked for two references from my previous job. Two days after that, I got the offer! Everyone was super nice and fair, and I got to show what I know. The HR person was great and kept me updated on how I was doing.

The interview process for the Automation Engineer role at Moon Active was pretty smooth and quick. It started with a phone call, then a technical interview with the team lead focusing on my current project. After that, there was a 4-hour take-home test where I had to write some API tests. Then I had interviews with the group manager, the VP, and HR. Even though there were a lot of interviews, it didn't drag on and I got quick responses. The technical questions were fair and made me feel good about showing my skills. Some parts were in their office, and others were over Zoom, but the team made the virtual ones feel as easy as being there in person. Overall, it was a really good experience.
