The interview process was really clear and moved pretty fast, taking about two weeks from the first interview to the last. It involved five stages: first, a recruiter chat, then talking with the Sr. Director of Customer Success, followed by the VP of Customer Experience, then the Manager of Customer Success Engineers, and finally, the VP of Sales & Account Management. I was told exactly what to expect, so there were no surprises. Everyone I met was accommodating, efficient, helpful, and thorough throughout the interviews. They answered all my questions and even gave helpful feedback.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process kicked off with a chat with the recruitment team. After that, I had three 30-minute one-on-one video calls, plus a technical exercise. The three 1:1s weren't explicitly defined, but they seemed to cover competencies, cultural alignment, and a review of the technical exercise, which was meant to gauge my approach and tool proficiency.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The technical exercise involved creating a project plan for my initial 30 days, with minimal guidance to assess my approach.
  • I was asked about my capability to handle several projects simultaneously, with an expectation that the chosen candidate would need to be effective from the start.
  • How do you approach getting up and running quickly in a new role?

Had a bunch of video calls with the main people involved. Then I went to the Head Office in Kingston to meet the VP of the team. Things seemed really positive and I got offered the job. But then, two weeks later, they told me the role wasn't suitable for remote working, so they basically took back the offer. They didn't even try to figure out a way to balance working from home and the office. Honestly, it was one of the weirdest and probably most unprofessional interview processes I've been through.
