I had a phone screen with HR, then an online interview with the hiring manager. The manager knew exactly what they wanted in a candidate and the role's duties. They asked open-ended questions about how I handle work situations. I was told the next step was an onsite interview in 1-2 weeks, with a decision expected in 3 weeks. After over a month of silence, I got an email saying I had to reapply because of a change in their HR system. The job postings were still up then.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had an initial chat with HR, who seemed to know a lot about the job and technical stuff, which was cool. Then, I met with the Hiring Manager and the QE team for a more focused talk about my past work and important ideas for the role. We had a good back-and-forth, and we both got a clearer picture of what to expect. I got an offer about a week later, and they even asked for some of the materials I used for my interview presentation afterwards. Everyone was professional and nice.

The HR person started with some standard questions. Then I had a one-on-one where we talked about my past jobs and why I wanted a career change. We also discussed my future goals for the next 5, 10, and 15 years. There was also some casual chat about my interests and hobbies. Finally, they took me on a plant tour to see the build cells and the manufacturing area where I'd be working.
