First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moog Inc..
Intern
It was an easy interview where they asked me about my experience and projects. They also asked what I knew about the company and what coursework I had done. We also had a tour of the facility during the interview and I was shown the projects I might be working on.
- What are your career aspirations?
Computer Science Intern
Recruiter contacted me via email to set up a screening. I had a phone call with the recruiter, then a one-on-one behavioral interview with a manager, and finally a group behavioral interview with two managers and a director. The whole process took about two weeks.
- Can you describe a project you've worked on?
Intern
Applied through employee referrals twice. Second time, multiple referrals. Interviewed close to the start date, was told I was the only qualified candidate. A week later, they said they were looking at more qualified people. I've put in a lot of effort to intern here because they've supported my outside projects, but it seems like someone less qualified with a family member at MOOG got an internship easily. Despite recommendations from staff and my work being passed up, less qualified people are getting the jobs.
- Can you tell me about your past leadership experience?
