Behavioral Technical

Had an online interview, it was split into multiple rounds. Two rounds happened back to back, and they were mostly behavioral with some technical parts. Each round was about 30 minutes. I had one behavioral interview with a director, then a combined behavioral and technical interview with a VP, and finally another combined behavioral and technical interview with an MD.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process kicked off with an initial phone screen by HR. Following that, I had an interview with the hiring manager later in the same week. They began by introducing themselves and sharing their background, then proceeded to outline the role and the organization. The interview itself covered motivation, competency-based scenarios, and technical aspects. Some questions were specifically tied to experiences detailed on my CV. However, I observed that the technical questions posed weren't directly related to the job description or my CV, suggesting that a broad understanding of the financial services sector would be beneficial. It also seemed like not knowing the answer to these technical questions might have negatively impacted the outcome. I did have to follow up to find out about the results.
