The interview process has one round if it's face-to-face, and two rounds if it's virtual. Montran mostly focuses on core Java, so expect questions primarily from core Java topics. Initially, you'll be asked about core Java concepts like Multithreading, Collections, Java 8 features, synchronization, and exceptions. In the second round, you'll be asked to write code. Finally, there will be questions about databases. I liked the interview process overall, and it was completed well. A crucial tip: carefully read the entire offer letter. It contains conditions like a 1-year commitment, with a penalty of 3 months' salary if you leave before then. I was initially told about a 5-day work week, with potential weekend work without extra pay. However, the offer letter states a Monday to Saturday work week, with Sunday work required as per project needs. There seems to be a lack of transparency from HR, as they provided misleading information to encourage joining.

The interview process included an aptitude test with Java and math/logical questions, followed by a technical round. The technical round involved Java coding questions, and questions about Spring and Struts, as well as scenario-based questions. The difficulty increases if you're not a fresher. Since it's a finance-based company, expect fintech-related questions. Finally, there was a salary discussion with HR.
