Montran Interview Questions
& Process

The first part was a written test on paper, mostly about core Java like OOP, exceptions, collections, and basic coding. Then, a technical panel asked me more detailed Java, OOPs, and some code questions. Finally, an HR interview to check my communication skills.

The interview process has one round if it's face-to-face, and two rounds if it's virtual. Montran mostly focuses on core Java, so expect questions primarily from core Java topics. Initially, you'll be asked about core Java concepts like Multithreading, Collections, Java 8 features, synchronization, and exceptions. In the second round, you'll be asked to write code. Finally, there will be questions about databases. I liked the interview process overall, and it was completed well. A crucial tip: carefully read the entire offer letter. It contains conditions like a 1-year commitment, with a penalty of 3 months' salary if you leave before then. I was initially told about a 5-day work week, with potential weekend work without extra pay. However, the offer letter states a Monday to Saturday work week, with Sunday work required as per project needs. There seems to be a lack of transparency from HR, as they provided misleading information to encourage joining.

They talk about your CV. There are some behavioral questions and then questions about OOP and DSA. The interviewers are nice and make you feel comfortable. If you don't know something, they don't make you feel bad.

In the Motrann company placement process, there are 5 papers. Each paper has 9 sections, and each section contains 5 basic-level multiple-choice questions (MCQs). 📝 The sections are: Java (Basic), SQL, Jenkins, Selenium, Logical Reasoning, Grammar, Non-Functional Testing, Test Cases, Functional Testing. All questions are very basic. Please prepare the grammar and share a well-structured section-wise.
