The interviewer was over 30 minutes late, and they had me fill out all the information I had already submitted online. I also had to take an assessment that felt like a college exam. Then, I had a Zoom interview with someone who seemed unhappy in her role, which made me realize this company wasn't the right fit. They also tend to ghost candidates and don't inform them of their decision, despite saying they will. I strongly advise against this company.

There was a test given in the office where you are put in a room. The test includes math (both long division and multiplication), a spelling test, appointment scheduling and three essays. It seemed like alot.

So the interview process was quite long, but the actual interview was just a series of math problems and proofreading tasks. They wanted to see if I knew the basics, and for the math, no calculators were allowed. It was stuff like multiplication, long division, subtraction, and addition. It wasn't a one-on-one interview; they put me in a room with other candidates they were interested in, told us it was an assessment, and it took about 2 to 3 hours.

So, I only got to the first step. It's not really an interview, more like a 2-hour written test. It covers your background (even though they already have it), how you'd handle certain scenarios, fixing documents, spelling and grammar, and scheduling. They mentioned it was a "placement" or "personality" test, but it didn't feel like that to me. They also said it could lead to a different role if my skills weren't a perfect match for a paralegal, but that didn't happen. In the end, they just told me I wasn't a good fit for the firm.
