The interview was pretty easy. The manager seemed really nice and wanted to learn more about me. It lasted about 35 minutes and I heard back about the job offer about a week later.

The interview process was fine, but the actual job wasn't great. As a teenage employee, I felt more responsible than the managers. I was asked to come to work sick, do tasks outside my job description, and didn't receive any tips even if given directly to me (they had to be returned to managers). I also had to complete online work training videos for free, and they threatened to withhold tip-outs from everyone if I didn't. They advertised competitive wages, but I was never offered a raise, and even when I said I would quit if I didn't get one, they refused. When I left, they had to hire four new people to replace me.

The process is super simple and basic. You can apply in person or online. Then, you'll have a one-on-one chat with either the general manager or the FOH/HOH manager. They'll ask you some questions about your customer service skills and how you handle time management or tough situations. If they like you, they'll schedule a working interview for you to try out the job on a normal day. This usually lasts 1-2 hours, where you'll shadow someone in the role you're applying for (hostess, server, or bartender). If that goes well, they'll set a start date for you.

First you'll meet with the General Manager. It's a standard interview with typical questions about your experience, what you know about the company, and your goals.
