First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Monks.
Graphic Designer
First, a recruiter interview, then a technical evaluation sent by the Creative Director. You don't interact with the Creative Director at all, other than accepting their Figma invitation. You'll need to do a KV design with a presentation, due in 2 days. I don't agree with asking people to do work for a job offer, that's what a portfolio is for. The recruiter was very nice, though.
- Design work in Figma.
Motion Graphics Designer
You need a portfolio and to do a test. HR would reach out to schedule an interview and then, at some point, an interview with the motion lead and the design lead. I don't know the current process.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your skills?
- What software are you proficient in?
Motion Graphics Designer
The interview was in Portuguese with a part in English. Productive with Talent. No luck with the manager of the area. Otherwise, the experience was very good. There is also a test. It was worth doing.
- Why would you like to work at Monks?
