Got an email from the recruiter first. Then we did a video interview. A few days later, I got invited to come to the office for an in-person interview with the recruiter and hiring manager. The office is nice and they started on time. Several days after that, the recruiter emailed me to come in for the final interview. It was with the same two people plus the CEO. This second interview was tougher than the first. We started about 15 minutes late. The CEO was hard to read. They asked a mix of job-related and personality questions.

About a week or two after I applied, I was asked to do some sample copy for a few jobs. A few days after that, they called me in for an interview. I had two interviews in two weeks, meeting different sets of people each time: the hiring manager, the Creative Director, the CEO, and others. Everyone was really nice and laid-back. The questions were about half copywriting stuff and half about me as a person, both at work and outside of it. I felt like they were checking my personality fit for the company culture as much as how I could help the business with my skills.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty quick and simple overall. My recruiter, Amanda, was super communicative, always keeping me in the loop from the initial contact right up to getting back to me super fast after every interview. I never had to wait days or weeks to hear from her. It all happened within about two weeks. It started with a video call, then an in-person meeting with the department manager, and finally, an interview with the CEO. I got the job offer the very next business day. Amanda was great about providing all the details on the role, benefits, and everything else. She was really thorough, and honestly, who doesn't want a quick hiring process when looking for a job?

It was a video interview. The interviewer mostly asked job-specific questions, but there were also some personality questions. It seemed like the interviewer wasn't very familiar with the role, as they read questions from a form and paused to write answers. The interviewer asked about my current salary and didn't share the salary range for the job. Asking for salary history can be a way to pay people less. I'd avoid this company if you want fair pay.
